WE ARE NO LONGER TAKING AD CONTRACTS FOR 2017-18. 

​The 12-page HORNBLOWER is mailed to over 1,500 households and businesses
in the Dudgeon-Monroe Neighborhood four times a year.  

Approximate Delivery Dates: 
Fall: Early September;  Winter: Mid-December;  Spring: Mid-March;  Summer: Early June

NEW ADVERTISERS: Please add hornblowerads AT dmna DOT org and webmaster AT dmna DOT org  to your Contacts or Allowed Senders list ("whitelist") BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST SO YOU CAN RECEIVE YOUR CONFIRMATION AND INVOICE!  How do I do that? 

PLEASE NOTE: The Hornblower is an all-volunteer effort. Please read and follow all guidelines below, and read all of our emails. EVERYTHING you need to know should be there.

CONFIRMATION AND AN INVOICE WILL BE EMAILED  upon receipt of your request. To save time and money, we do not mail hardcopies of contracts or invoices. If you need a PDF invoice, please contact ad coordinator.

PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED before ad will be published.  
Please mail or drop off a check ASAP.

AD SPECIFICATIONS:  (Printable PDF VERSION)

  1. Print-ready high-resolution copy in JPG or PDF formats.required. We may reject copy in the wrong format, or charge you $20.00 to convert it.  (Graphic design are services not included in ad cost.)
  2. Newsletter is printed in grayscale. If you wish to submit color copy, we recommend you test print on a good quality black & white printer to make sure it converts properly.  
  3. Copy must fit within your chosen slot dimensions. We will shrink copy that does not fit, or bill you the difference for a larger ad slot.

NEW AD COPY FOR UPCOMING ISSUES: A reminder is emailed 1 month before each deadline in case you wish to submit new copy. 

The most recent copy will be reprinted if no new copy is received by the deadline.  
No refunds given if advertisers fail to submit updated copy by deadline.  

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation requests should be emailed to hornblowerads@dmna.org by the copy deadlines. No refunds given for canceled contracts. (But new copy may be submitted for a different business.)
