Glenway Prairie Work Session, UW Commencement, & Annual Compost Bin/Rain Barrel Event

Volunteer Work Session at Glenway Prairie Saturday, May 13 9:30-11:30am Meet at intersection of SW Path and Glenway Street, southeast corner of Glenway Golf Course Recent rain has greened up our prairie areas nicely, but invasive plants like garlic mustard are flowering and need to be removed. Motherwort, burdock, hedge parsley, and buckthorn also need to be weeded out before the ground dries and hardens. UW Commencement & Annual Compost Bin/Rain Barrel Event

May 8th 2017

UW Commencement this Saturday, May 13 UW Spring Commencement will take place at Camp Randall this Saturday, May 13. Equipment will start loading into the stadium on Tuesday May 9. Sound checks (videos, music, speeches, etc.) are scheduled to take place periodically on Thursday/Friday (May 11 and 12) between the hours of 10:00am – 5:00pm.
